Card Capture Reader
The card capture reader/controller is a front-end device that can be integrated into access control systems, turnstiles, parking systems, etc.
Data encoded on the cards is read by the reader and passed onto a controller. The controller then makes the decision to allow or disallow entry, and also signals back to the reader to either capture or return the card.
Card capture readers are ideal for applications where some cards (such as visitor cards) need to be retained but others (such as staff cards) can be returned to the user to be used again.
The module can be equipped to read magnetic stripe cards, proximity cards or smart cards depending upon the application. Most card technologies are supported. 
The card capture reader can be supplied alone or mounted within a powder coated universal roadside pedestal. The pedestal can be supplied in either single or dual height, with a stainless steel faceplate, built-in power supply and all necessary ancillary components. An Intercom call unit can be fitted as an option.
