DualPROX® Readers
The DualPROX® family of readers offers the choice of flexibility and cost effectiveness whether it is for a new access control system, expansion of an existing system or simply replacement readers.
The DualPROX® readers read both old PAC and new 125kHz type cards and tokens. They provide 2 simultaneous data outputs; one for connection to PAC controllers, and the other a selectable 26-bit or 44-bit Wiegand data output.
The Wiegand output can be used to connect to most access control systems. The PAC series output can connect to PAC 1000, PAC 1100, PAC 2000 and PAC 2100 controllers.
DualPROX® allows installers and system integrators to easily integrate with many different types of host
system controllers for which they need to stock only one type of reader regardless of the system it is
intended to be used with.
End users (e.g. Housing Associations, Local Authorities, etc.) can use the DualPROX® reader on existing PAC systems with the added option of migrating to other manufacturers’ access control systems without the need to change readers or tokens.
