Magnetic Stripe Readers
The Magnetic Stripe Card Reader is a ‘swipe’ type reader for applications where card retention is not required.
Nortech’s magnetic strip readers are durable and reliable and can be used for both internal and external applications.
The reader assembly comprises a high-quality card reader head in a robust metal housing suitable for external use to provide years of reliable service in the most demanding of access control applications.
The reader accepts low or high coercivity magnetic stripe cards with standard track 2 encoding. Track 1 and track 3 versions are also available upon request.
Magnetic stripe card capture readers are also available.
As with all Nortech’s readers, a full range of compatible cards is available. Services include numbering, encoding and customised printing.
