Proximity Readers
The innovative range of proximity readers supplied by Nortech is ideal for virtually all access control applications. As well as Nortech's own readers, we offer a full range of HID and Indala proximity.
Depending on the model, these readers provide maximum read ranges of 600mm and operate on the 125 kHz frequency.
These proximity readers can output data in Wiegand, Clock & Data or serial data formats, making it simple to upgrade existing sites to proximity using wiring already in place.
Available in a range of colours and housing styles, the electronics are sealed in UL approved epoxy potting material, making them vandal and weather resistant.
For particularly exposed locations, a vandal-proof reader in a stainless steel housing is available.
Card capture proximity readers are also available for card capture.
