RF Remote Control
Nortech’s latest family of Radio frequency products offer greater flexibility for access control solutions. The RF family includes several transmitter and receiver options all of which are compatible with each other. Nortech’s remote control solution operates at 868Mhz avoiding the interference found on other frequencies. The maximum open-field operating range is 100m.
Transmitters
Keyfob transmitters are available with between one and four transmitter channels. Each button on the keyfob generates a unique code (from 70 million available codes) that can be programmed into one or more receiver(s).
Codes can be copied from one transmitter to the next by using the supplied programming connector. This enables an unlimited number of transmitters per system.
Bespoke Remote Control
As an alternative to the handheld transmitters, an OEM 4-channel transmitter is available to allow users to design their own transmitters using key switches, heavy-duty buttons or switches, or even electronic switching devices with relay outputs. The device can be easily integrated into third party
equipment and is battery powered to simplify installation.
Receivers
Radio Frequency receivers are available in single, dual and 4 channel models. Each receiver can learn up to 10 codes per channels (i.e. 10 unique transmitter codes). Several output modes are available depending on the receiver model (Impulse & timer, On / Off toggle, On / Off, Dead Mans Control and Awning) Receivers can be used with any combination of the handheld transmitters, keypads and OEM transmitters.
RC100 - 1,600 Code Receiver/Controller
For installations with a large number of users and where the transmitter codes need to be easily added and remove individually. The RC100 combines a remote control receiver with a single door/barrier access controller with all of the functionality of the CRC100.
RC-W Wiegand Converter
An RC-W can be used to integrate remote control into a full access control system. An access controller such as CRC200 will treat transmitter codes the same way as proximity codes, magnetic stripe codes, etc. The code is compared with the database and the appropriate action is taken (allow or disallow access). Access Management systems such as Norpass2 will treat remote control transmitters like any other credential. This simplifies the combination of remote control technology with other access control technologies.
